Tuna fish sandwich, tomato, hard boiled egg, white and yellow cheddar cheese, seaweed, lettuce and hot sauce.
Bored and awake too early for my liking today…
A is for Apple, what’s your favorite variety? Fujis when they’re in season cannot be beaten.
B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of? When Pigs Fly makes a jalapeno pineapple bread that is to die for.
C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!) My favorite cereals have all been changed :( Except the Kashi products. It’s a toss up between GoLean and Cinnamon Harvest.
D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy? Honestly, I never really liked doughnuts. Until the creation of the butternut doughnut, it was always the Boston Creme.
F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat free product?Raw carrots, oh my god. Or 0% plain Chobani greek yogurt. Too bad I add fat to both snacks haha.
G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours? Stop and Shop. But if there was a Trader Joe’s in the area, I’d be there every day.
H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favorite hot drink? Vanilla chai tea with soy milk and stevia! Or any of the hot black coffees at Malachis.
I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping. No ice cream. Fro-yo. Pinkberry pomegranate with fresh pineapple.
J: is for Jams or Jellies, do you eat them, and if so what kind and flavor? I despise jelly. It reminds me of blood clots. Raspberry jam or Stonewall Kitchen wild Maine blueberry jam are good though.
K: is for Kashi, name your favorite Kashi product? EVERYTHING. But if I had to choose, either the cereals listed above or the Roasted Garlic Heart to Heart crackers.
L: is for Lunch, what was yours today? I haven’t even eaten breakfast.
M: is for microwave, what is your favorite microwave meal/snack? I heat up frozen brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli almost daily for a salad, along with some edamame or a veggie burger. So I guess that.
N: is for nutrients, do you likes carbs, fats, or proteins best? Proteins. Especially in the form of fish (sushi, tuna, salmon, lobster), eggs, beans/soy beans, greek yogurt, cottage cheese. I can go overboard.
O: is for oil, what kind do you like to use? Olive oil.
P: is for protein, how do you get yours? See “N” lol
Q: is for Quaker, how do you like your oats? Hot, with ground flax, stevia, raspberries or pumpkin (depending on the season), cinnamon, and maybe some cocoa powder if I’m feeling crazy.
R: is for roasting, what is your favorite thing to roast? Vegetables, forever and always.
S: is for sandwich, what’s your favorite kind? I really don’t like sandwiches. I’d rather have a wrap. But if I had to choose, it’d be a grilled peanut butter, Nutella, banana sandwich. Very specific, I know.
T: is for travel, how do you handle eating while traveling? It depends.
U: is for unique, what is one of your weirdest food combos? Probably my rice creations at school. I had so many of them.
V: is for vitamins, what kind do you take? If I remember, a multi-vitamin.
W: is for wasabi, yay or nay? Fucking love it.
X: is for XC Foodie, why is she so awesome? Clearly this person made this survey. And I don’t care.
Y: is for youth, what food reminds you of your childhood? So much. Cinnamon toast with scrambled eggs, the fried egg sandwiches my dad would make (since he couldn’t cook anything else), mashed potatoes, peanut butter and fluff sandwiches, Pop Tarts, chocolate chip muffins, ice cream from Dots, Big Red gum, the snacks from the Camp Ramsbottom snack shack.
Z: is for zucchini, how do you prepare it? Roasted with italian herbs and garlic or grilled.
